The long drive was made worse by the huge amount of construction over the distance. A lot of bridge and rock work. Wish I got a dollar for every flag person we saw
I gave way to pressure from Julie and visited Pukaskwa National Park for 90 minutes of short hikes but all with some awesome views. The park sits on the north west corner of Lake Superior.
The park reminded me of different BC locations such as Whytecliff park and Smuglers cove on the Sunshine Coast.
The hike that reminded me of Whytecliff even led to a bay called Horseshoe bay!
Lake Superior views were amazing as we drove around the lake. Couldn't always take a photograph but to us small town Brits this wasn't so much a lake but a full blown ocean!
Now it's time to relax with some beers and a bottle of scotch as we watch the Blue Jays on TV.
Shorter day tomorrow so hopefully that means a bit of a sleep in.
Just a view of the lake from the road (during one of the construction stops)
Just a quick pic during driver changeover
Canoe launch area at Pukaskwa NP, all other pictures were also taken at the park
Nice pictures of the park.
