On Friday 24th June we 'up sticks' and leave the house and area we've lived in for almost 25 years and make our way across the country to start the next chapter in our lives.
It's strange that it's only been 3 weeks since i quit my job and started early retirement.
The time has flown by and we've both been incredibly busy, first selling the house and then the planning and preparation needed to relocate to somewhere 6000 km away.
We will be taking 22 days coast to coast on this incredible journey.
It's interesting that Google maps reckons this trip can be done in 46 days if walking.
If that's the case then we must be driving real slow.
Anyway I plan to record our trip using this blog and hopefully include some fun facts and photos of our travels along the way.
I hope you'll join us and follow along.
